Midcy was a scholar, obsessed with the hidden patterns of the universe—until a forbidden experiment shattered his understanding of it. Fused with a powerful entity of ancient origin, he is reborn as Mischief: part man, part myth, entirely unstable. His existence is a glitch in itself, a living paradox charged with powers he can barely control.

Emma, a code-witch exiled for her unconventional magic, has spent her life on the margins—watching the world fracture from the shadows. But when a sentient artifact begins calling to her, pulsing with secrets and hunger, she’s drawn into a journey she can’t ignore.

Together, they follow the artifact’s trail to the Shrouded Ruins, a place long erased from maps and memory. Within its mist-laced corridors lie answers—about the origins of the glitches, the remnants of a forgotten empire, and a truth neither of them is ready to face.
